I'm from Honduras. For years I watched friends, designers, engineers, marketers, apply to local jobs paying a fraction of what their skills were worth abroad. I tried the same thing. Hundreds of applications, almost no replies.

The problem wasn't us. It was the system we didn't have. International recruiters look for very specific signals: an ATS-friendly resume, a keyword-tuned LinkedIn, a clean portfolio, a recorded intro. None of these are taught locally. All of them are learnable in a weekend with the right playbook.

When I finally cracked it, the right format, the right boards, the right outreach, everything changed. I wanted to package that into something organized so the next person didn't have to figure it out alone.

The Door isn't an agency. We don't have direct access to recruiters and we won't pretend to. What we do have is a clear, organized system, the templates, the catalog of where to look, the tracker to stay on top of every application, and the 14-day plan to get you moving.
